The CBIA is the future for the Chinese Boxing Institute International. The CBIA is a structured curriculum put together by Professor Cravens to provide a clear path for an individual instructor to understand the Chinese Boxing martial art and learn it as a teacher. If one cannot teach then the knowledge is left with that individual. So this structured curriculum will accomplish that goal for the individual instructor. It is also for the school that wants to become an Affiliate Chinese Boxing School to add the curriculum to their present curriculums. We feel that Chinese Boxing is a most unique art that answers the questions of realistic combat. So we would like to see this art move on to more people and later generations. Please talk to Alan Baker today, our Program Director and let him walk you through what this organization and art is all about.
`When you become an affiliate member of the Chinese Boxing Instructors Association (CBIA) you are automatically enrolled in the Coach/Instructor Program. The Coaches/Instructor Development Program is designed for you to progress to the rank of Coach/Instructor and beyond in Kai Sai™ Chinese Boxing. Kai Sai Chinese Boxing is a serious study of Realistic Martial Art using various Energy Methods and this is the only place where Kai Sai™ Chinese Boxing is authenticated in certifying instructors. Once you are in the program you will have the opportunity to attend three Instructor Development Camps per year.
Coach Development Camps are included, free of charge, with your active affiliate membership. All Coach Development Program events are personally taught by Professor James Cravens. These events are not the same as a public seminar. Coach Cravens spends a great deal of time working with each affiliate on curriculum for you to take back to your school. The Coaching Camps are recorded and published exclusively for our instructor affiliate members. That will allow you to stay current if you miss an event.
The Chinese Boxing Instructor Association and its curriculums were specifically designed by James Cravens to train new instructors and coach level instructors to advance in the CBII Systems. As an affiliate you will train, grow and test at these events with Professor Cravens as you progress through the program. Previous experience is taken into consideration by Professor as you are evaluated.
As a CBIA affiliate you also have full access to the Affiliates Only and Premium Student video archive. This ever growing archive contains hundreds of lessons/clips covering curriculum courses as well as written Manuals for every phase and level. The Kai Sai Chinese Boxing curriculum contains 8 levels up to instructor/coach and each level has 3 incremental phases totallying 24 components to this curriculum. The curriculum is organized as a set of 16 boards (topics). Each board is a topic such as the Hand/Arm Board which would contain hand and arm technqiues used in Kai Sai Chinese Boxing. Another board is the Chin na Board (grappling/locking etc.) The program progresses systematically working from beginner to advanced. If you would like to see a preview or summary of a part of the 16 `boards go Here.
